SCIP
/ LTIP
SCIP/LTIP
is a funding program approved by the voters in the State of Ohio in 1988, and
reauthorized in 2005. The proper name for the program is the State Capital
Improvement Program and the Local Transportation Improvement Program, or SCIP/LTIP.
Ohio is divided into 19 Public Works Districts. Hamilton County is a single
county district because of our large population. Our district number is 2.
District 2 has an Integrating Committee, made up of local government officials,
which has authority under Chapter 164 of the Ohio Revised Code to award grants
and loans to qualified applicants. Ohio municipalities, townships and counties
are eligible to receive the grants and loans. You can download all of the forms
necessary to apply for funding from this page. The latest
'Round' section contains the local forms and information that is needed to
apply for funds. We also have a link to the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC),
which oversees the SCIP/LTIP program. The application form, as well as the
Capital Improvement Report (CIR) can be downloaded from the OPWC site.
