Markley Road Bridge Replacement

Sunesis Construction is replacing two existing concrete bridges on Markley Road with precast structures manufactured by United Precast.  The bridges are constructed on a four-foot wide strip footing.  A Big Maxim crane lifted the units onto the footings in only one day for each site.  Poured-in-place retaining walls were constructed to retain the fill throughout the project.  The project is scheduled to be complete by mid-December.  The asphalt paving work is scheduled for early December, weather permitting.  All work is on schedule.
