No one likes it.  But sometimes it is necessary to restrict or close parts of the roadway system.  Safety is always the priority when we close a county road.   Convenience simply must be a secondary consideration.  In most cases, traffic will be maintained.  Sometimes, if possible, work will stop during rush hours to minimize travel times for people moving through the affected area.

We have always notified the local authorities, the Sheriff's Office, Cincinnati Enquirer, and all the local radio and television stations fourteen days prior to any restriction or closure.  Sometimes this information is missed by the the traveling public.  We hope that our News Release page gives everyone the news they need to make their motoring less stressful.

Lawrenceburg Road Re-opened

Devils Backbone Road Closed

Wesselman Road Closed

Roads Closed Due to Inclement Weather
