![]() Judge Patrick DinkelackerJudge Patrick Dinkelacker graduated from Elder High School in 1972 and Xavier University in 1976. He received his law degree from the University of Dayton Law School in 1979. In 1979, Judge Dinkelacker was appointed as Assistant Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney. He served in the Criminal Division prosecuting cases at the Juvenile, Municipal and Common Pleas felony levels. During his nine (9) years in the Common Pleas Division, he tried numerous cases including death penalty cases. In 1991, Judge Dinkelacker became a Judge in the Hamilton County Court of Domestic Relations. He served in that capacity until November 1995, when he was appointed to the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas - General Division bench. In 2001 he was the presiding Judge of the Common Pleas division. In November 2006, Judge Dinkelacker was elected to the First District Court of Appeals. Judge Dinkelacker currently serves as a Teaching Assistant at Xavier University and has presented numerous speeches to schools, civic associations and legal groups. He has been a coach at Our Lady of Lourdes grade school for many years. Judge Dinkelacker and his wife, Kathy, have four children - Brian, Kevin, Leah and Julie. |
