Reducing the amount of trash going into landfills by recycling is a commonplace practice. Families, businesses, individuals, and organizations across Hamilton County recycle a variety of materials which are later used for new products. The strategies in this section suggest ways to make recycling programs more effective, and to further reduce our solid waste stream by purchasing products and services that use a minimum of packaging or other materials.
