County Supplements Wages to Attract and Retain Quality Workforce

The Board of County Commissioners voted to provide a one-time supplemental payment to County employees to help retain talented employees by making wages more competitive with the public and private sector.

"We want to invest in a quality, motivated and productive county workforce by ensuring all employees earn a living wage," said Todd Portune, County Commission President. "I hope this will help the county attract and retain an excellent workforce and improve employee morale."
