Housing Programs

HIP Property Improvement Program

HIP enables property owners in Hamilton County to obtain a bank home improvement loan at an interest rate that is 3% below market rates.  Loans can be used for most types of upgrades including additions, siding, windows or room remodeling.  For more information, click here.

Sewer and Water Grants

Grants up to $6,500 are available to low and moderate income homeowners.  Grants are based on a sliding scale depending on family income and are limited to on-site disposal systems and sewer or water taps.  Homeowners must be at or below 80% of area median income.  For more information or to apply contact  Lana Smith at 513-946-8214.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)

Fully renovated or newly built single-family homes are available to low/moderate/middle income homebuyers with up to $14,999 in homebuyer assistance. A list of homes that are available, income guidelines and application, and a program brochure may be accessed by clicking here.
