Public Notice is hereby given that Hamilton County, Ohio has published the draft Substantial Amendment to the Consolidated Plan 2008 Action Plan for the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP). To view the draft amendment click here. Details of the Program are available on the Community Development Department's website at www.hamilton-co.org/commdev or at the office located at the County Administration Building, 138 E. Court Street, Room 1002, Cincinnati, OH 45202. A Public Hearing inviting comments on the Plan will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 603 of the County Administration Building. The draft Amendment will be made available for a 12-day comment period beginning April 22, 2009, and comments can be submitted to the office address listed above. The Board of County Commissioners will approve the final Substantial Amendment on May 6, 2009, for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) on May 15, 2009. HUD will review the Amendment, and approval is expected no later than July 2, 2009.
