NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL RULE AMENDMENT - TITLE VIII: MAGISTRATE’S PROCEEDINGS

The Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations, hereby gives notice of the adoption of amended Local Rule Title VIII: Magistrate’s Proceedings to take effect November 1, 2011.

Please also note that the Request For Transcription form (DR 8.30) has been revised in an effort to streamline the transcript cost estimating and to eliminate unnecessary CD copying.

NOTICE TO ATTORNEYS PRACTICING IN DOMESTIC RELATIONS COURT:

The Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations, hereby gives notice of the adoption of amended Local Rule Title XIX Temporary Restraining Orders effective September 1, 2011.

This amendment allows for the utilization of a previously signed and imaged Administrative Temporary Restraining Order to replace an individually signed and captioned Temporary Restraining Order to remove unnecessary delay in filing new actions for divorce, legal separation or annulment.

NEW DOCUMENT REQUIRED WITH DISSOLUTION FILINGS BEGINNING APRIL 4, 2011

The Hamilton County Court of Domestic Relations, hereby gives notice that Dissolution Merit Hearings will be heard by the assigned Magistrate. To facilitate this change in procedure, DR Form 9.3A has been adopted to include the waiver of service of summons and consent to have a Magistrate preside over the merits hearing. This form will be required with all Dissolution filings beginning April 4, 2011.
