Title VI: Registration, Modifications and Enforcement of Foreign Support Order Pursuant to Uniform Interstate Family Support Act
6.1 Procedure for Registration of Foreign Support Order
Pursuant to ORC § 3115.40, the filing of a certified copy of a foreign support order, and of copies of all the other documents and information enumerated in ORC § 3115.39, with the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts constitutes registration of the foreign support order. The aforementioned items shall first be submitted to the Domestic Relations Court Docket Office for review. Following this review, the party requesting registration shall file the order, documents and information with the Clerk of Courts’ Domestic Relations Division office at 800 Broadway, Cincinnati, Ohio.
