Hamilton County’s vision, goals, objectives, and priority initiatives were approved by the Planning Partnership and adopted by the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission (HCRPC) in 2003 through Community COMPASS — the Comprehensive Master Plan and Strategies for Hamilton County. Several projects have been initiated and are summarized in “Implementing Community COMPASS”.
As part of HCRPC’s bylaws, a plan must be reviewed and updated every five years. On August 4, 2008, the Regional Planning Commission unanimously approved the update to the Vision for Hamilton County’s Future. They continued the public hearing to September 4, 2008 to request further input on the 2008 Recommended High Priority Initiatives. Those initiatives were selected from Community COMPASS Report No. 18: “Initiatives and Strategies”. The 2008 Recommended High Priority Initiatives are identified on page 3 of the Staff Report.
Please provide any written comments by August 29, 2008 to Todd Kinskey at or fax to 513-946-4475; comments can also be presented at the September 4th continued public hearing, For further information, contact Mr. Kinskey at 513-946-4454.
