Organization Description: As our global workforce increases, cultural diversity and sensitivity is brought to the forefront on every level. Companies are not only faced with usual business issues of productivity, retention, profitability and but also team building between employees whose cultures may initially clash. These cultural differences may be deeply rooted in core beliefs that are difficult to acknowledge much less change.
Diversity training is the fastest growing training segment in the organization development arena. Most training will teach you how to get along on the surface with others who may be different from you, but never really produces transformation that guarantees long-term success and increased productivity.
Our training is different because we start from the inside out by uncovering our own personal constraints! Steppin' Stones helps you to dispel prejudices and discover the power of healthy work environment relationships. The four steps of the training will transform people's lives, their team, and quite possibly, a community. The half day session begins the journey to acknowledge the ingrained prejudices that lie deep within our hearts and minds and to change the behavior that results from flawed thinking. Transformation occurs as individuals apply the four steps of the acrostic RACE, Reconciliation begins with the power of forgiveness; Acknowledge we have ingrained prejudices; Community based on healthy work environment relationships; Education that is continual rooted in a safe enviroment is the key to breaking down walls.
This is the foundation of a strong, healthy high performing team that is successful, productive and empowered!
