1605 & 1601 Main st are the more public buildings on the site, located on the corner of Liberty & Main streets. These two buildings offer a chance to make a very public statement to the greater community through its strong visual presence. This structure is intended to function as an educational tool for the community; playing host to a large and varied group of people from class trips to professional symposiums.

The ground floor of this structure would function as a public engagement facility, the Cincinnati Center for Green Technology (CCGT) modeled after the Chicago Center for Green Technology. Included in this proposed institution would be public meeting facilities, an interactive exhibition area that could help to function as a starting off point for a visitors exploration of the Liberty & Main site. Here is where the public could obtain educational material and information pertaining to the site and how some of the exhibited sustainable techniques could be applied to their home or neighborhood. The CCGT would serve as a meeting place for people interested in sustainable technologies to meet and share information. For this reason it is critical that the CCGT create a valuable resource for building tradesmen, including architects, contractors, and developers. One programatic goal of the CCGT is the creation of a resource library that would eventually manifest itself in the creation of a resource web-page that could showcase local products and manufacturers.

For more information on the educational goals of the CCGT see the education section.
