OEM The second floor of this structure is given over solely to the creation of the Office for Environmental Management (OEM). The OEM was disbanded in 2003 by Mayor Charlie Lunken, and was recently reestablished by Mayor Mark Mallory. The designed space is adequate for the former staff of the OEM plus several additional work spaces. Included in this design is room for the office to expand if need be, public reception space, and a sizable directors office space. The scope and responsibility of the OEM has not yet been established, that is the reasoning for the amount of flexibility inherent in this particular design. Link here to the Mayors official statement on the OEM. Commercial The rest of the structure is to be given over to various commercial units. The design has space to accomodate 3 additional entities: one large, one moderate, and one small perhaps a craftsman or a small business. |
