Designing an appropriate storm water management plan should start at the stream end with an evaluation of existing steam conditions and an assessment of which BMPs are best suited for site conditions.
	If you are considering putting in a detention basin and a wetland, is there enough room for adequately-sized features?
	An assessment of downstream condition is also important.  Consider downstream land uses and look for potential problem areas including undersized drainage culverts or extensive stream encroachments.
