Community Profile

Size: 3.44 sq. miles

Community Type: City. Rural residential, with the main commercial district along Front Street.

Vicinity: To the north is the community of Withamsville.  To the  northeast is the Village of Amelia and the City of Batavia.  To the east is the Village of Bethel.  To the south is the community of Point Pleasant. The Ohio River makes up the western boarder of New Richmond.

Founded: As a village in 1814

Major Streets:
Front Street is the main business corridor running north/south with access to State Route 52 which runs directly through New Richmond.  State Route 52 connects New Richmond to I-275 in the north.
