For all health care benefits, EXCEPT MEDICAL INSURANCE, an eligible employee is a permanent, full-time employee, or one who is regularly scheduled in active pay status at least 30 hours per week. For Medical Insurance, an eligible employee is a permanent, full-time employee, or one who is regularly scheduled in active pay status at least 30 hours per week, and who is ineligible for alternate coverage. Temporary, intermittent, part-time (less than 30 hours per week), and seasonal employees are not eligible for group health insurance coverage regardless of the number of hours worked.
