Employees have access to benefits that supplement our other Hamilton County benefits. They provide you and your family the opportunity to purchase additional financial protection with the convenience of payroll deductions. The next enrollment period will be the fall of 2012 for 2013 Critical Illness / Accident coverage.

Critical Illness - provides a lump-sum benefit payment to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses and the costs associated with life-changes following a covered critical illness like cancer, heart attack, stroke or renal failure (pre-existing limitations apply). This enrollment only, employees can qualify for up to $25,000 in coverage and spouse and children qualify for up to $5,000 in coverage, without medical questions (subject to pre-existing condition limitations). It pays in addition to your medical insurance!

Accident Insurance - provides cash benefits to cover the costs associated with unexpected off the job accidents. It is an insurance plan that pays you a benefit regardless of any other insurance you have. You can qualify for accident insurance regardless of health situation.
