Hamilton County offers you and your family professional counseling services through Horizon Health. Horizon Health is commonly referred to as the EAP or the employee assistance program.

The program assists employees in managing difficult periods in their lives and helps them to cope with marriage issues, work-related stress, substance abuse, grief issues, etc.

Benefits eligible employees and covered dependents are entitled to up to 10 free sessions with a professionally licensed counselor at Horizon Health. The program is supportive of you and your family, its services are confidential, and appointments can be arranged with a singe telephone call. Employees are also eligible for 30 minutes of free legal counsel.
