Innovation Reward Programs - Fresh Ideas

Fresh Ideas is an employee suggestion program created to encourage and reward individual employees for sharing practical ideas that benefit Hamilton County by improving efficiency, enhancing service, or generating savings or revenue.

Employees who make suggestions that are implemented are rewarded according to the value saved or revenue earned by the County. Awards are Tangible or Intangible.

  • Tangible Award: when savings or revenue of idea is over $200, employee chooses $200 cash or one paid day off.
  • Intangible Award: when savings or revenue of idea is $199 or under, employee is entered into a raffle for a prize.

Some of our quarterly raffle prizes have included one-day paid leave, Hamilton County Park passes, a month of free parking at the A&D Parkhaus garage, and tickets to various Cincinnati attractions, such as the Museum Center and the Cincinnati Zoo.
 

How about taking the FRESH IDEAS CHALLENGE!

For the remainder of 2010, the County Commissioners are ADDING an extra $100 to the $200 Tangible Award as described to the left. So now you can earn $300 for a great idea!

So put your thinking caps on and share your FRESH IDEAS! Not only will Hamilton County benefit, but you will be rewarded as well!
