Project Gain and Fresh Ideas Comparison

Can employees work together on submissions?
Submitted by an individual employee OR a group.		Submitted by an individual employee only.
Eligibility to Participate
All employees, including management levels.		Employees below top management.
Duration of Projects/Ideas
Long-term running either a fiscal year or half a year.		Does not necessarily have a time duration.
Approval Requirements
Form must be approved by the Department Director before being submitted.		Form is submitted directly to the Program Coordinator, no approval required.
Award Distribution
After the program savings or revenue has been justified.		After the Department Head decides the idea will be implemented.
Award Amount
Half of the justified savings or revenue, up to a $1,000 per program maximum per employee. Minimum Award: $100 per person / per project		Two categories: 1) Tangible - when savings or revenue of idea is over $200 employee chooses $200 cash or one paid day off OR 2) Intangible - when savings or revenue of idea is $199 or under employee is entered into a raffle for a prize. Minimum Award: Entry in Raffle
