Planning & Development - Storm Water Drainage System (SDS) regulates, reviews, and approves storm water management for all new development in the unincorporated areas and selected Municipalities of Hamilton County.
The Storm Water Drainage System Regulations was issued by the Board of County Commissioners on January 1, 1974 and revised on August 17, 1996 and on January 17, 2007.
Plan review is billed at the rate of $55.00 per hour.
Flood Damage Prevention Regulations were adopted by the commissioners in 1982 and Earthwork Regulations and Enforcement have been in effect since November 1, 1990.
