Hennepin

Minnesota, is seeking candidates for a Purchasing
Manager to oversee the full scope of developing, implementing and
maintaining a consistent organization-wide purchasing process. This is an
exciting opportunity to work as a strategic partner providing leadership in
an established progressive public sector organization. The Purchasing and
Contract Services Division is responsible for managing the bid process for
commodities and construction contracts and also for negotiating certain
professional services.
The
position requires a related bachelor’s degree or higher and accomplished
experience in: purchasing and contracting, administration, integrated
financial systems, supervision, and the ability to negotiate with a variety
of stakeholders to provide a best value focus.
