Reduce child medical costs

At this difficult time, and with rising health costs, the County is working hard to make health care and prescription medications more affordable and accessible to working families in Hamilton County.  When it comes to your children’s medical bills, there is help.

Hamilton County offers Medicaid to minor children when the family earns less than approximately $42,500 per year for a family of four. Adults may also qualify depending on their financial and health status. Preventive, immediate and prenatal care is available through various programs.

For more information about Medicaid and how to apply, visit www.hcjfs.org or call 946-1000. You can also contact the Medicaid Outreach Project at the Freestore Foodbank, at (513) 357- 4815.
