The 513 Small Business Assist program removes barriers that small business owners face when recovering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and navigating local, state, and federal recovery assistance programs. Eligible small businesses located in Hamilton County will receive one-on-one support with COVID-19 grant applications, business planning, marketing, access to funding, and much more.

The 513 Small Business Assist program brings together again a working coalition of local and national community and economic development organizations that each are committed to helping small businesses connect with the specific services that meet their unique needs. By contracting with the National Development Council, the County is also partnering with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce, African American Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative, Urban League, Next Street, and HCDC Inc. This coalition of organizations previously worked together on the Greater Cincinnati COVID-19 Response and Recovery Initiative, which received anchor funding from Fifth Third Bank.

The 513 Small Business Assist program is available to small business owners who:

  • have 50 or fewer employees,
  • are currently open or have a plan to open in the next 60 days, and
  • have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
