County Administrator

County Administrator Jeff AluottoJeff Aluotto was appointed Hamilton County Administrator in November of 2016. In this capacity he serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the County overseeing the management of all departments and functions reporting to the Board of County Commissioners including: Finance and Budgeting, Development Services, Community Development, County Facilities and Infrastructure, Environmental Services, Economic Development, 9-1-1 Communications and various social services functions. Additionally, he is responsible for coordinating, on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners, with all of the elected and independent agencies functioning under County government and with the various stakeholders and communities which make up the fabric of Hamilton County.

For ten years prior to his appointment, Mr. Aluotto served as the County's Assistant County Administrator overseeing various operations.

Mr. Aluotto has worked extensively on issues related to the Metropolitan Sewer District, economic development, County facility planning, and process improvement within the County's building and development functions. He serves as the Board's representative and/or point of contact to various Boards and Commissions.

Prior to joining County Administration, Mr. Aluotto managed the Hamilton County Solid Waste District for seven years where he was responsible for comprehensive planning for the County's solid waste capacity, recycling, and special waste needs. This included managing grant programs to promote recycling, conducting household hazardous waste programming, performing landfill capacity planning analysis, working with business and industry on new approaches to waste management, etc.

Mr. Aluotto also served in various positions with Butler County and the City of Oxford, Ohio.

Mr. Aluotto holds an MBA from Xavier University, an M.S in Environmental Policy from Miami University and a B.S. in Economics from Miami University. He is an ICMA Credentialed Manager and is a graduate of the University of Virginia's Senior Executive Institute.

Mr. Aluotto lives with his wife and three children in Sharonville, Ohio.
