NON-PROFIT SERVICES

Hamilton County receives grant funding from HUD in the Community Block Grant Program each year. In 2023, the county received ~$3.4 Million. This money is used to benefit low to moderate-income households & areas, create economic opportunities, provide safe & secure housing, and improve living environments for communities and residents.

A portion of this is set aside each programmatic year for Social Services. Each Spring, the County begins an RFP (request for proposals) process to award these funds to non-profit social service providers that meet the objectives in the County’s 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan set forth here.

All contracts will be awarded to the non-profit entity whose proposal is most advantageous to the program with price and other factors considered.

Non-profit entities that wish to submit a proposal must do so through the Neighborly software application.

The 2024 RFP will be available via this webpage by May 3, 2024, by 12:00pm. Proposals will be due by 4:00pm on June 3, 2024. Please send any questions to [email protected].
