MENTAL HEALTH EQUITY

The Mental Health Equity RFP aims to improve culturally competent care and access to mental health services and supports among our priority populations—Black and Hispanic, LBGTQ+, children and families with low incomes, and rural communities (including youth within those priority populations). Projects will be considered that address barriers and expand access to services and supports and/or improve cultural competency across the behavioral health continuum, from prevention through treatment and recovery.  Grants are expected to range from $25,000 to $100,000. The total investment will be up to $750,000.

ADVANCING HEALTH JUSTICE

The Advancing Health Justice RFP aims to support community efforts to advance health justice through community power building, policy and systems change and narrative change. This funding is intended to support community-generated ideas that tackle root causes and amplify community power. We are focusing efforts on people and communities who experience the greatest injustices in health outcomes. This includes Black and Hispanic communities, children and families living with lower incomes and rural communities. There are three funding tracks within this RFP: community power building, policy and systems change and narrative change. Grants are expected to range from $25,000 to $100,000. The total investment will be up to $1.5 million.
